B2B prospectingfind Brazilian companies, check the CNPJ and prioritize who to approach

Enrichment finds Brazilian companies on Google Maps or through filters by CNAE (Brazil’s official business activity code) and city. It finds the website, checks the CNPJ (Brazil’s national company registration number), pulls in partners and public contacts, and gives each company an A, B or C score. You choose how to reach out: email, phone or LinkedIn. WhatsApp comes in once the company agrees to it.

  • Google Maps search by term and city, up to 200 companies per run
  • Filters on Brazil’s CNPJ registry: CNAE code, city, company size, registration status and more
  • Website, verified CNPJ, partners, phone numbers, emails and social profiles
  • A 0–100 score and an A/B/C tier based on your ideal customer profile

What is ConverZAP’s B2B prospecting?

It’s the Enrichment module. It searches Google Maps or filters Brazilian companies by CNAE code and city, finds the website, checks the CNPJ, pulls in partners and published contacts, and gives each company an A, B or C score. You reach out by email, phone or LinkedIn, and move to WhatsApp whoever agrees. It’s built for prospecting Brazilian companies: the CNPJ check and the registry filters only cover businesses registered in Brazil.

How it works

From search to a prioritized list

Define who to look for

A term and a city on Google Maps, CNAE and city filters on Brazil’s CNPJ registry, or the companies already in your CRM.

ConverZAP enriches

Official website, contact page, CNPJ checked against name and address, partners, phone numbers, emails and social profiles.

Every company gets a score

From 0 to 100, with an A, B or C tier, based on the profile you define. Changing the profile and recalculating costs nothing.

You reach out with focus

Contacts in a list, ready for email, calls or LinkedIn. WhatsApp only with the company’s permission.

Features

What Enrichment does

Less time copying data from site to site, more time talking to companies that fit your profile.

Three ways to start

Searches run on your own Serper or Apify account. Each query costs what those services charge.

Google Maps

A term and a place, like "dental clinic in Curitiba", through Serper or Apify. Up to 200 companies per run, with name, address, phone, website, category and reviews.

CNPJ registry filters

Primary or secondary CNAE code, city, state, registration status and legal form, plus share capital, company size, Simples Nacional or MEI (Brazilian small-business tax regimes) and opening date. Up to 1,000 records, through a third-party bot on Apify.

Companies you already have

Pick up to 500 companies from the CRM, from an imported spreadsheet for example, and fill in what’s missing.

What you get for each company

The data comes from public sources: the company’s own website, its Google Maps listing and the CNPJ registry.

Official website

Skips social profiles and booking sites, and reads the home page and the contact page of the company’s own website.

Verified CNPJ

The CNPJ found is matched by name and address and looked up in the public registry through BrasilAPI (a free public API): legal name, status, CNAE, size, share capital and opening date.

Partners and contacts

The partner list from the registry, phone numbers (mobile or landline), emails and WhatsApp links published on the website, plus Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

A score to prioritize

Not every company you find deserves the same effort. The score tells you where to start.

A 0–100 score

Rules award points for rating, number of reviews, website, social profiles, company size, CNAE, city, years in business and contacts found.

Ready-made templates

Local business, hospitality and B2B (established companies) as a starting point. Adjust the weights to your ideal customer.

Straight into a list

Phone numbers and emails become contacts in a list in your base, with the company and its score, ready for your team’s cadence.

Example

One enriched company, field by field

A fictional example: a software house that sells practice management software to dental clinics searched for "dental clinic" in Curitiba, Brazil.

Illustration · fictional data

  1. 1Name, phone, address, category and reviews came from the public Google Maps listing.
  2. 2The CNPJ was found in the website footer and checked by name and address in the public registry. Status: active.
  3. 3The contact email and the LinkedIn profile were on the website. The landline is for calling; it isn’t WhatsApp.
  4. 4Tier A under the team’s profile: high ratings, its own website and a matching company size. Outreach starts with an email or a call.

From list to conversation, without burning your number

Good prospecting is a cadence: several touches, on the right channels, with a reason for the company to reply.

Email, calls and LinkedIn

Use the contacts for a relevant first touch that’s easy to decline. In email, offer one-click opt-out and respect anyone who asks not to be contacted.

WhatsApp only with permission

When the company asks to continue on WhatsApp, record that permission. Then the AI SDR agent answers, qualifies and books the meeting.

Everything in the pipeline

Company, score, contacts and history stay in the CRM, with stages and a forecast. The team sees where each opportunity came from.

Platform rules

B2B prospecting within the law and WhatsApp policy

Company data is public, but a partner’s name and a person’s email and mobile number are personal data. The rule is Brazil’s data protection law (LGPD), and on WhatsApp, Meta’s policy applies too.

Legitimate interest, with a test

LGPD allows processing data for the controller’s legitimate interest (art. 7, IX), but only for a concrete purpose and within what the person could reasonably expect (art. 10). The ANPD, Brazil’s data protection authority, recommends documenting the balancing test. ANPD guide on legitimate interest (in Portuguese).

Only what you need, and the right to say no

Keep only what you’ll use in the outreach (art. 10, §1), say where the data came from when asked, and respect anyone who objects to being contacted (art. 18, §2). Law No. 13,709/2018 (in Portuguese).

WhatsApp requires opt-in

The WhatsApp Business Policy only allows contacting people who gave you their number and agreed to receive messages. A list from Google Maps or the CNPJ registry is not opt-in. Messaging a cold list leads to blocks and reports, and WhatsApp may restrict or ban the number. WhatsApp Business Policy.

Legal review of your case

Every business has its own audience and purpose. Before you start outbound prospecting, check the legal basis and your outreach copy with your legal team or DPO. See also why numbers get banned.

What ConverZAP’s B2B prospecting doesn’t do

Better to know before you try it.

  • It isn’t a database of every company in Brazil. Each run searches up to 200 companies on Google Maps or up to 1,000 records through filters. The CNPJ check and the registry filters only cover companies registered in Brazil.
  • It doesn’t work without your own Serper or Apify key. Those searches are billed separately by those services.
  • It doesn’t make up contacts: if the website doesn’t publish an email or a mobile number, the field stays empty. It doesn’t buy or sell lists.
  • It doesn’t send WhatsApp campaigns to the list. Sending through the official API requires an approved template and, under WhatsApp policy, opt-in from each contact. See the outreach rules above.
  • It doesn’t send emails or messages on its own: your team does the outreach, on the channels you choose.
  • The CNPJ registry filters come from a third-party bot on Apify, not from an official service of the Receita Federal (Brazil’s federal tax authority). Double-check anything decisive.

It’s a fit if…

  • You’re a B2B company selling to Brazilian businesses, with an ideal customer defined by industry and city
  • You’re an agency that sells to small and midsize businesses in Brazil
  • You run an SDR team that loses hours building lists by hand
  • You sell niche software to companies that can be found by CNAE code

Maybe not yet if…

  • You want to send WhatsApp messages to a cold list
  • You’re looking to buy a ready-made contact database
  • You don’t want to sign up for Serper or Apify
  • You sell to consumers, not to businesses
  • You need registry data on companies outside Brazil

B2B prospecting FAQ

Where does the company data come from?

From public sources: the Google Maps listing (through Serper or Apify), the company’s own website and Brazil’s public CNPJ registry, looked up through BrasilAPI. The search by CNAE filters uses a third-party bot on Apify that reads the CNPJ registry.

Does ConverZAP have data on every company in Brazil?

No. There is no proprietary database. Each run queries the sources live: up to 200 companies per Google Maps search or up to 1,000 records through filters, within your plan’s monthly limit. The CNPJ check and the registry filters only cover companies registered in Brazil.

Do I need my own key?

Yes. Add your Serper key, your Apify key or both under Integrations. Searches are billed by those services. The CNPJ lookup through BrasilAPI is free.

Can I send WhatsApp messages to the companies I find?

Not without permission. The WhatsApp Business Policy only allows contacting people who gave you their number and agreed to receive messages. A list from Google Maps or the CNPJ registry is not opt-in, and cold messages lead to blocks, reports and a risk of the number being banned. Reach out by email, phone or LinkedIn.

Is B2B prospecting allowed under Brazil’s data protection law (LGPD)?

It can be, on the basis of legitimate interest, as long as the purpose is concrete, you keep only the data you need and people can object. The ANPD, Brazil’s data protection authority, recommends running and documenting a balancing test. Check your case with your legal team. ANPD guide (in Portuguese).

How many companies can I enrich?

2,000 companies per month on the Sales plan and 10,000 on Complete. The 7-day free trial includes 200. Essential doesn’t include the module.

How does the A/B/C score work?

Each company gets 0 to 100 points from rules you set, such as reviews, website, company size, CNAE, city and contacts found, and lands in tier A, B or C. There are ready-made templates for local business, hospitality and B2B. Recalculating costs nothing.
