WhatsApp bulk messaging tool, paced to your number
ConverZAP is a WhatsApp bulk messaging tool that sends campaigns with Meta-approved templates, at the pace your number can handle. People who opt out are removed from the list automatically, and replies land in your team’s inbox.
- Approved templates only, with the contact’s name, media and buttons
- Audiences from lists, tags and segments, minus anyone who opted out
- Per-minute pacing within the number’s daily limit
- Report of delivered, read and failed messages, with the reason for each failure
Mon., 10 a.m. — "Winter Sale" campaign started: 30 messages per minute.
Approved template sent by the campaign: “Hi, Carla! Example Store’s Winter Sale started today. Tap See offers to check it out. Reply STOP to opt out.” Button: See offers

What is a WhatsApp bulk messaging tool?
It’s a system that sends the same message, personalized for each contact, to a customer list through the official WhatsApp API. Every send uses a Meta-approved template. The tool paces sending to the number’s limit, respects people who opted out and shows how many messages were delivered, read or failed.
Bulk messaging today vs. bulk messaging with ConverZAP
| Before | With ConverZAP |
|---|---|
| The campaign goes out from a phone, one contact at a time, or from an unofficial tool. | The campaign goes out through the official API, with a Meta-approved template. |
| Everyone gets "Hello, customer". | Each contact gets their own name, city or coupon in the template variables. |
| People who opted out are still on the list for the next campaign. | Anyone who replies STOP is flagged as opted out and left out of sends. |
| Everything goes out at once and the number’s quality drops. | Sending follows a per-minute pace and stops at the number’s daily limit. |
| After sending, nobody knows what was delivered. | Each contact has a status: sent, delivered, read, failed or skipped, with the reason. |
| Replies get lost on someone’s phone. | Replies arrive in the Inbox, with the campaign noted in the chat. |
How it works
Features
Templates, variables and buttons
Approved templates only
From the start, the campaign follows Meta’s rule for reaching people who haven’t talked to you in the last 24 hours.
The form lists only the approved templates of the selected number, with language and category. A template that isn’t approved can’t be used in a campaign.
Per-contact variables
A personal message to thousands of contacts, with nothing typed by hand.
Each variable comes from the first name, full name, company, city, state, email, phone, a custom field or fixed text. If the data is missing, the default text is used; without one, the contact is skipped and the reason is shown.
Reply, link and call buttons
Customers act straight from the message: open the offer, call or reply with one tap.
Buttons are created in the Templates module: quick reply, link, call and Meta’s marketing opt-out button. The end of the link can change per contact, with a variable.
Image, video or PDF in the header
A catalog, flyer or launch video right in the campaign.
Upload a JPG, PNG, MP4 or PDF of up to 16 MB, which goes straight to Meta, or enter an https URL. With no file, the media from the approved sample is used.
Preview and test send
You see the message before it reaches any customer.
The screen shows the filled-in WhatsApp bubble. The test sends one message to the number you enter.
Audience and respect for contacts
Lists, tags and segments
The campaign goes to the people it makes sense for, not to your whole base by default.
Choose lists, tags, segments or the whole base. Then exclude people with certain tags or in certain segments, such as customers who bought this week.
Count before you send
You know how many people will receive it before you click start.
The form shows how many will receive it and how many are left out: people who opted out, landlines and contacts with no phone number.
One send per phone number
Nobody gets the same campaign twice for being on two lists.
When the campaign starts, ConverZAP builds the queue with one send per phone number, even if the contact appears in several lists or tags.
Automatic opt-out
People who opt out are respected in this campaign and the next ones.
Replies such as STOP (or the Portuguese SAIR, PARAR, CANCELAR and DESCADASTRAR) and the "Parar promoções" opt-out button in Portuguese templates flag the contact as opted out. If that happens mid-campaign, the contact is skipped before the send.
Spreadsheet import
Your customer base becomes a send list in minutes.
Import a CSV or XLSX file, map the columns and create a list. Phone numbers are standardized, and repeated contacts are updated, not duplicated.
Pacing, scheduling and limits
Messages per minute
You set the speed and protect the number’s quality.
Set anywhere from 1 to 1,000 messages per minute (the default is 60). For a new number or one with yellow quality, the screen suggests starting between 10 and 30.
The number’s daily limit
The campaign never goes beyond what Meta allows for that number.
Every minute, the batch respects what still fits within the number’s limit over the last 24 hours. When the limit is reached, sending waits and resumes on its own.
A 24-hour cap per campaign
Spread a large campaign over several days, on purpose.
Set an optional 24-hour cap. When the audience is larger than the number’s limit, the screen warns that sending will take more than a day.
Scheduling
The campaign goes out at the right time, even if nobody is at the computer.
Pick a start date and time. The campaign is marked as scheduled and starts on its own at that time.
Pause, resume and cancel
You’re in control from the first send to the last.
While paused, you can change the pace and the cap. When you resume, people who joined the audience in the meantime also receive it, with no duplicates. Canceling removes everything that hasn’t gone out from the queue.
Errors, reports and cost
Automatic pause on serious errors
An account or template problem doesn’t turn into thousands of identical failures.
A token without permission, a blocked account or one with a pending payment, a spam limit, a paused or disabled template and an unregistered number all pause the campaign, with the reason on screen.
Retry at the throughput limit
Short spikes on Meta’s side don’t bring the campaign down.
When Meta asks you to slow down, the message goes back to the queue, for up to 4 attempts. If Meta doesn’t respond, there’s no resend, to avoid duplicates.
Campaign report
See the results while the campaign runs.
Audience, queued, sent, delivered, read and failed or skipped, with percentages. The screen refreshes every 10 seconds while sending.
The reason for each failure
You know what to fix before the next campaign.
Failures are grouped by Meta’s error code, with a plain-language explanation. The message list shows each contact’s status, with a filter.
Estimated cost and number health
Track message spend and number quality in one place.
The WhatsApp Health screen shows the estimated cost of billed messages by category, delivery and read rates, and each number’s quality and limit.
Sample campaign and reply (fictional)

Team memberHi, Carla! This is Rafael. Yes, we have it in M. Want me to set it aside for you to pick up at the store?
CustomerYes, please! Thanks.
SystemIn the campaign: a contact replied STOP. They were flagged as opted out and are left out of upcoming sends.4
SystemThe number’s daily limit was reached: sending waits and resumes on its own.5
SystemReport updated: sent, delivered, read, failed and skipped.
- 1A marketing template approved by Meta. The name comes from the "first name" variable, and the "Reply STOP" line gives the customer an easy way out.
- 2The reply opens the 24-hour window and lands in the Inbox, with a note saying which campaign the contact received.
- 3If the number has an active AI agent, it replies using the knowledge base and hands off to a person when needed.
- 4The opt-out applies to this campaign and the next ones. Anyone who opts out mid-send is skipped before receiving it.
- 5The pace respects the number’s limit. The campaign doesn’t force sending: it waits and continues later.
Control: what happens before, during and after sending
Nothing goes out until you start it
Every campaign starts as a draft. Sending only begins when someone clicks Start and confirms. Before that, the screen lists what’s missing: number, template, variable values and audience.
Pacing protects the number
Messages per minute, the campaign cap and the number’s daily limit all apply at once: the lowest one sets each minute’s batch. If the number’s quality isn’t green, the form warns you to slow down.
A serious error pauses everything
When Meta rejects a send because of the account, payment, template or spam limit, the campaign pauses right away and shows the reason. You fix it, adjust the pace if you want and resume where it stopped.
People who reply get an answer
Every template sent goes into the chat history, marked as a campaign. The reply goes to the number’s AI agent or to your team. The automatic away message isn’t sent to anyone who got a campaign in the last 7 days.
Plan limits
Each plan has a monthly limit of contacts in campaigns. If the list you build goes over that limit, the campaign doesn’t start and the screen explains why.
What the tool doesn’t do
It doesn’t send free-form messages in bulk: a campaign always uses an approved template. Carousel templates and templates with a location header can’t be used in campaigns yet. Sequences with waits and stop rules live in the Automations module (follow-up).
Meta rules that apply to every bulk send
The 24-hour window
A business can send free-form messages for up to 24 hours after the customer’s last message. Outside that window, only an approved template can be sent. That’s why every campaign uses a template. When the customer replies, the window opens and the chat can continue freely.
Templates and categories
Meta reviews every template before approving it. The categories are marketing (offers and news), utility (orders, reminders, billing) and authentication (codes). The category sets the price. See the step-by-step guide to templates.
Opt-in and unsubscribe
Only send to people who agreed to receive messages from your business on WhatsApp. Make it clear how to opt out, for example with an opt-out button or a "Reply STOP" line. Learn about WhatsApp opt-in.
The number’s limit and quality
Meta sets how many contacts each number can reach in 24 hours and may lower that limit if there are many blocks and reports. It also limits how many marketing templates a person receives. Learn more about the quality rating.
Meta’s fees
In Brazil, from October 1, 2026, Meta charges per delivered message: marketing R$ 0.3217; utility, authentication and service R$ 0.035. Each number gets 1,000 free service messages per month. People who come from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad (Android and iOS) and get a reply within 24 hours open a free window of up to 7 days. Check Meta’s official pricing and run the numbers in the API cost calculator.
In practice, by industry
E-commerce
The store launches a sale to its customer list, with an image in the header and a link button to the storefront. Customers who bought this week are left out with an exclusion tag.
Customer reactivation
A segment of customers with no recent purchase gets a template with a coupon taken from a custom field. Replies go to the sales team in the Inbox. Learn more
Billing and payments
Contacts tagged "pending-boleto" get a utility template with the amount in a variable and a link button with the boleto code (a Brazilian bank payment slip) at the end of the URL. Learn more
Schools and courses
The school tells its list of parents about the re-enrollment period, with the calendar as a PDF in the header. The send is scheduled for the morning of the chosen day.
Clinics
The clinic tells patients in a segment that a new specialist’s schedule is open. The "I want to book" quick reply button sends the chat to the front desk.
Gyms
The gym tells active members about holiday hours, with a utility template sent in the morning.
Real estate
The list of people interested in a neighborhood gets the new development with its brochure as a PDF. Replies are handled by the broker, who sees in the chat which campaign the lead received.

Integrations
Contacts, lists and import
ConverZAP’s contact base is the source of the audience. CSV or XLSX spreadsheets become lists, and extra columns become custom fields for the variables.
Tags and segments
CRM tags and segments include and exclude contacts from the campaign. When a paused campaign resumes, the audience is recalculated.
Templates
The Templates module creates the template, submits it for Meta’s approval and tracks its status. Only approved templates show up in campaigns.
Inbox
Every template sent goes into the history, marked as a campaign. Replies reach the team, with a campaign note in the new chat.
AI agents
The number’s AI agent can answer people who write back after the campaign and hand off to a person when needed.
WhatsApp Health
Quality, daily limit, delivery and read rates and estimated cost for each number, synced with Meta.

Compare plansWhatsApp bulk messaging FAQ
It’s a system that sends one message to many contacts at once through the official WhatsApp API, using a Meta-approved template personalized for each contact. A good tool controls the pace, respects people who opted out and shows what was delivered, read or failed.
No tool eliminates that risk. What lowers it: only sending to people who opted in, using relevant templates, offering an easy way to opt out and not sending too fast. ConverZAP paces sending to the number’s limit, respects opt-outs and pauses the campaign when Meta returns a serious error. Read more in WhatsApp number banned.
Yes. To reach people who haven’t talked to you in the last 24 hours, Meta only accepts an approved template. You create the template in the Templates module and submit it for approval; once approved, it shows up in the campaign. See how to create templates.
It depends on two limits. Meta’s, which sets how many contacts each number can reach in 24 hours. And your ConverZAP plan’s, which counts contacts in campaigns per month. Within those, you choose messages per minute and an optional 24-hour cap. The number’s limit appears in the campaign form.
There are two costs. The ConverZAP plan, starting at R$ 197 per month (prices in Brazilian reais). And Meta’s fee per delivered message: in Brazil, from October 1, 2026, marketing costs R$ 0.3217 and utility R$ 0.035. Check Meta’s official pricing and run the numbers in the cost calculator.
By replying STOP, or the Portuguese words SAIR, PARAR, CANCELAR or DESCADASTRAR, or by tapping the “Parar promoções” opt-out button in a Portuguese template. The contact is flagged as opted out, is left out of upcoming campaigns and, if a campaign is still running, is skipped before the send.
Yes. Variables can come from the name, company, city, a custom field or fixed text, with a default value if the data is missing. The header accepts an image, video or PDF, and buttons can be quick reply, link, call or Meta’s marketing opt-out button.
To the ConverZAP Inbox. The new chat gets a note with the campaign the contact received. If the number has an active AI agent, it replies and hands off to a person when needed; if not, your team replies.
Yes. You choose the start date and time, pause and resume whenever you want and change the pace while the campaign is paused. The report shows sent, delivered, read, failed and skipped, with the reason for each failure. The bulk messaging step by step walks through each screen.
Bulk messaging sends one message to an audience at once, at the pace you set. Automatic follow-up is a sequence that starts on an event, waits between steps and stops when the lead replies. Many businesses use both.
