To send WhatsApp bulk messages in ConverZap, open “Disparo em massa” (Bulk messaging) in the menu, click “Nova campanha” (New campaign), choose the number and an approved template, set the variables, audience and pace, save the draft and click “Iniciar envio” (Start sending). Messages are sent only through the official WhatsApp API and respect the number’s daily limit reported by Meta. Contacts who asked to stop receiving messages (opt-out) are excluded automatically.
Before you start
You need a number connected through the official API, at least one template with “Aprovado” (Approved) status on that number, and contacts registered under “Contatos” (Contacts), organized into lists, tags or segments.
WhatsApp bulk messaging campaign, step by step
- Name and sending number: name the campaign and choose the number. The screen shows the number’s limit (new conversations per 24 hours) and warns you when the quality rating isn’t green.
- Template: choose an approved template for the number. If it has a media header, enter an https URL or leave it blank to use the media from the approved sample; you can also upload a file on the campaign screen after saving.
- Variables: for each variable in the body, header or URL button, choose the source: a contact field (first name, full name, company, city, state, email or phone), a custom field or fixed text. Fill in “Se vazio” (If empty) with a default value; with no data and no default, the contact is skipped, because Meta rejects empty parameters.
- Audience: check “Toda a base de contatos” (Entire contact base) or choose lists, segments and tags. You can also exclude contacts with certain tags or in certain segments.
- Pace and scheduling: set “Mensagens por minuto” (Messages per minute), from 1 to 1,000, the “Teto por 24h (opcional)” (24-hour cap, optional) and, if you want, “Começar em (opcional)” (Start at, optional).
- Click “Salvar rascunho” (Save draft). Nothing is sent until the campaign is started.
- On the campaign screen, use “Envio de teste” (Test send) to send a message with the current settings to a test number.
- Click “Iniciar envio” (or “Agendar” (Schedule) if there is a future start date).
Audience and opt-out
When you build the audience, the screen shows how many contacts will receive the message and how many were left out because they opted out, have a landline or have no phone number. The same phone number across two contacts receives a single message. A contact is marked as opted out when they reply with only a word such as “SAIR” (quit), “PARAR” (stop) or “STOP”, when they tap the “Parar promoções” (Stop promotions) button, or when someone marks them manually. Contacts who opt out during a campaign stop receiving the messages still in the queue.
Pace and number limits
Every minute, ConverZap sends the lowest of three values: the chosen pace, what remains of the campaign’s daily cap, and what remains of the number’s limit over the last 24 hours. When the number’s limit is not yet known, ConverZap assumes 250 messages per 24 hours. If the audience is larger than the daily limit, the screen warns you and sending is spread over several days.
Tip: on a new number or one with a yellow quality rating, start with 10 to 30 messages per minute. The pace and daily cap can be changed on the campaign screen, under “mudar ritmo” (change pace) and “mudar teto diário” (change daily cap).
Track the campaign status
A campaign moves through the statuses “Rascunho” (Draft), “Agendada” (Scheduled), “Enviando” (Sending), “Pausada” (Paused), “Concluída” (Completed) or “Cancelada” (Canceled). While it is sending, you can click “Pausar” (Pause), “Retomar” (Resume) or “Cancelar” (Cancel). The screen shows the totals “Na fila” (Queued), “Enviadas” (Sent), “Entregues” (Delivered), “Lidas” (Read) and “Falhas / puladas” (Failed / skipped), the “Motivos de falha” (Failure reasons) and the per-contact message list, updated with the statuses Meta reports.
If Meta returns an error that prevents the campaign from continuing, such as a token, account or template problem or a spam limit, ConverZap pauses the campaign and shows the reason. Throughput errors (too many messages per second, for example) send the message back to the queue for another attempt.
