To connect a new number to ConverZap through the official WhatsApp API, a workspace admin opens “Configurações” (Settings) → “Integrações” (Integrations), clicks “Número novo” (New number) in the “Conectar WhatsApp com o Facebook” (Connect WhatsApp with Facebook) panel and completes Meta’s Embedded Signup in the window that opens. There is no need to copy a token, account ID (WABA) or App Secret: ConverZap receives Meta’s authorization, registers the number on the official API and starts receiving WhatsApp events. The WhatsApp Business account still belongs to the business, and Meta bills messages to the business’s own account.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to the ConverZap workspace: the connection panel is only shown to admins.
- A Facebook account that manages the business on Meta. During the flow, you can pick an existing business portfolio (Business Manager) or create a new one, and pick or create the WhatsApp Business account.
- A number that isn’t registered on any WhatsApp app. If the number already uses the WhatsApp Business app on a phone, follow the coexistence guide. If it’s on regular WhatsApp (the consumer app), first move it to the WhatsApp Business app or delete the account on the phone.
- Access to the number to complete any verification Meta requests during signup.
- A browser without an active ad blocker on the page, since it can prevent Facebook login from loading.
Step by step in ConverZap
- In the side menu, click “Configurações” and then “Integrações”. If no number is connected yet, the same panel also appears on the “Saúde do WhatsApp” (WhatsApp Health) screen.
- In the “Conectar WhatsApp com o Facebook” panel, click “Número novo”.
- In Meta’s window, log in with the Facebook account that manages the business.
- Pick or create the business portfolio and the WhatsApp Business account, enter the number and follow the verification steps Meta shows.
- When you finish, ConverZap shows the message “WhatsApp conectado” (WhatsApp connected) with the number and the verified name. The account’s numbers and templates appear within moments.
- Open “Saúde do WhatsApp” to check the number, its quality rating and its daily limit. If needed, click “Atualizar agora” (Refresh now) to fetch the latest data from Meta.
Connecting the same WhatsApp Business account again does not create a duplicate integration: ConverZap updates the existing connection and shows “WhatsApp reconectado” (WhatsApp reconnected).
Payment method in WhatsApp Manager
After connecting, add the business’s payment method in Meta’s WhatsApp Manager (business.facebook.com/wa/manage). Without it, Meta won’t send messages. Meta bills messages directly to the business’s account, not through ConverZap. Meta charges per delivered message, based on the message category and the recipient’s country (see Meta’s WhatsApp pricing page). Common errors
“Não foi possível carregar o login do Facebook” (Facebook login couldn’t be loaded)
The browser blocked the Facebook login script, usually because of an ad blocker. Disable the blocker for ConverZap and reload the page.
“Conexão cancelada antes de terminar” (Connection canceled before finishing) or “Login do Facebook não concluído” (Facebook login not completed)
Meta’s window was closed before the end. Click “Número novo” again and complete every step.
“A Meta não aceitou a autorização” (Meta didn’t accept the authorization)
The authorization code Meta generates is valid for 30 seconds. If completing the flow took longer, repeat the connection.
Number already registered on a WhatsApp account
The new number flow rejects numbers that are active on a WhatsApp app. If the number is on the WhatsApp Business app, use the “Número que já usa o app WhatsApp Business” (Number that already uses the WhatsApp Business app) button instead (coexistence).
“Este número já está conectado a outro workspace do ConverZap” (This number is already connected to another ConverZap workspace)
Each number can be linked to only one workspace. Remove the integration in the other workspace before connecting.
“Nenhum número foi adicionado nesta conta ainda” (No number has been added to this account yet)
The WhatsApp Business account was authorized, but it has no number. Add the number in WhatsApp Manager and click “Atualizar agora” on the “Saúde do WhatsApp” screen.
Tip: if the connection was completed but you see the warning “a Meta não concluiu o registro” (Meta didn’t complete the registration), wait a few minutes and connect again; reconnecting the same account only updates the integration.
