The ConverZap Help Center brings together the guides for connecting WhatsApp through Meta’s official API and using the platform’s customer service and messaging features. ConverZap connects WhatsApp numbers exclusively through the official API (WhatsApp Cloud API), using Meta’s Embedded Signup: there is no connection through an unofficial API and no WhatsApp Web QR code scanning. Once the number is connected, a business can create templates and submit them for Meta’s approval, run bulk messaging campaigns with approved templates, handle contacts in an inbox shared by multiple team members, and build AI agents that reply on WhatsApp, qualify leads, save data to the contact record and hand the conversation off to a person when needed.
Note: The ConverZap app interface is currently in Portuguese; these guides show each label in Portuguese with its English meaning.
Help Center guides
The guides start with connecting a number, which is a prerequisite for every other feature.
- Connect WhatsApp through the official API — connect a new number with Facebook login (Embedded Signup), including prerequisites, step-by-step instructions, Meta’s payment method and common errors.
- Coexistence: a number that already uses the WhatsApp Business app — keep the number working on the phone and on the API at the same time, through Meta’s official flow.
- Create an AI agent — set up identity, script, questions, knowledge base, tools and human handoff, test it in the simulator and activate it on the number.
- WhatsApp templates — create message templates (marketing, utility or authentication) with media headers and buttons, and track Meta’s approval.
- Bulk messaging — build a campaign with an approved template, variables, an audience from lists, tags or segments, and a sending pace.
- Team inbox (“Conversas”, Conversations) — handle conversations with multiple team members: assignment, round-robin, internal notes, canned responses, the 24-hour window and AI agent controls.
Before you start
To follow the guides, a business needs a ConverZap account with admin access to the workspace (only admins can connect WhatsApp and create templates), a Facebook account that manages the company’s business portfolio on Meta, and a phone number for WhatsApp. Messages sent through the official API are billed by Meta directly to the business’s account, using the payment method added in WhatsApp Manager.
Tip: new to the official API? Start with the article on the WhatsApp Business API and check the WhatsApp API glossary for terms such as WABA, template, 24-hour window and tier.
